In addition, treated leather is better protected from UV which fades pigment and dries out the natural material, leaving it brittle and more vulnerable to becoming cracked, ripped or torn. Musashi coats the leather with an abrasion resistant layer, helping to prevent scuffs and, importantly, preventing dye transfer from dark suits or jeans.
